Kernel can identify holding companies and represent them in hierarchy data. Whether a holding company should become a Salesforce Account depends on the customer's CRM policy.
For some teams, the operating parent is more useful than the legal top parent.
Check this first
- Is the holding company the legal parent or the operating parent?
- Does the customer report on legal ownership or GTM ownership?
- Should the CRM roll up to the holding company or the operating entity?
- Is the holding company already in Salesforce?
