Kernel may recommend creating a parent when the correct parent is missing from Salesforce and the configured hierarchy workflow supports parent creation.

The goal is to complete the CRM hierarchy before linking child Accounts to that parent.

Check this first

  • Is the parent missing from Salesforce?
  • Do multiple child Accounts share the same missing parent?
  • Is parent creation enabled for this workflow?
  • Is the parent the level the customer wants in CRM?
  • Is the action listed as Associate missing parent?

What to send support

  • Child Account IDs.
  • Proposed parent name, website, and KERN ID if available.
  • Whether the customer wants legal, operating, or GTM hierarchy.
