Does Kernel enrich Account or Kernel Account?

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Short answer

Kernel can read from Account and write to configured destinations. In the safer Salesforce setup, Kernel-owned values live on the Kernel Account object first. Account fields should only be populated when your team intentionally maps a specific value there.

Check this first

  • Does the org use Kernel_Account__c?
  • Is the Kernel Account record linked to the Salesforce Account?
  • Is the field expected on Account, Kernel Account, or both?
  • Is there a mapping that copies the value onto Account?

What to send support

  • Salesforce Account ID.
  • Kernel Account record ID, if present.
  • Field label and API name.
  • Where the value is visible now and where you expected it.
